In 2012 I obtained my master degree in human movement sciences at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. In my masters I focused mainly on rehabilitation, recovery and motor control resulting in a master thesis about locomotor control and adaptation processes during walking (in cooperation with the University Twente, department of biomechanical engineering).

Since 2013 I'm a PhD student at the Institut de Neurosciences des Systèmes (INS). I successfully defended my PhD thesis in December 2016. My work focuses on perception, action and motor control. As a human movement scientist I'm interested in discovering underlying principles of how movements are controlled. I will mainly investigate the relation between the visual system, consciousness and action in different motor control mechanisms.

I mainly work together with Raoul Huys, Jean-Christophe Sarrazin and Viktor Jirsa.
